The only other thing I had trouble with was finding rates in investigation 2. I understand how to do rates with only one object, but not multiple objects or high numbers.

I had trouble with the equations for Leanne,Gilberto,Alana. It was confusing because i have always have trouble with equations so I had extra trouble with these equations. so iam asking how do i find out there equations

if you made the table, this should help you out. leanne's suggestion was=for every 1 mile, you pay $1. the mile is on the x axis so the mile stands for X. the money is on the Y axis so the money stands for y. the equation would be 1x=y. lets subsitute x for 3. 1x3=3. so for 3 miles, you would pay $3.

CH you posted in the wrong area, you posted in 2.3 when you said 2.1 beside that rates are constant. if the rate is 7 it is just 7 repetitively over and over. with multiple numbers it is more numbers repeated. The constant rate of 5 is 5 over and over for example. 7x is another way of writing a rate. It is not to intricate.
